Hello world!

Welcome to WHITE LIGHT, a Blogging outlet of EAGLE’S WINGS WORLD MINISTRIES!

A place where the young at heart can come together and share challenges and concerns, and find answers to life’s challenging questions. O.K, Yep! You can vent here! Get your problems ‘off your chest’!

This is where you can comment on what irks you the most, what you do not understand in the Bible, and how what it says 2000 years ago can be relevant today. Are you confused? Lost? Failing your classes? Can’t stand it at home? …

If you think that you live in a ‘ghetto of a mess’, how can you still be a success?

Let’s keep it real!

I am not a ‘know – it- all’, however, I am hearing such a cry from youth, especially from teenagers, that I thought that I would try this new techno-savvy route of reaching you.

This is for you …

P.S I am now learning to blog so please be patient as I try to build this site. I just might have to call on some of you who have been doing this longer than I have, for help.

  1. A Story to share about giving!

My two girlfriends and I were celebrating our first summer job and first paycheck at a restaurant. We were happy that for the first time in our young adult lives we did not have to penny pinch. We ordered starters main course and dessert and the bill was quite large.

The young woman who was serving for the two hours that we stayed there finally brought us our bill. We payed the bill, she returned the change. We decided to calculate a ten percent tip then we thought you know what, lets not calculate, lets just leave each one 20 dollars.

What we left as a tip at that time was much more than even a 20 percent tip of the total bill and we questioned ourselves as to whether we could afford it …..
Needles to say, our waitress returned to clear the table saw her tip, looked at us with large eyes and started to cry…
“Whats the matter,” I asked? she said,”Today when I came to work I knew that I didnt have enough money to get back home or even to feed myself for the coming week, and I didnt know how I would get back to the restaurant tommorrow, and I prayed and prayed for a solution but none was coming.” She said,” Just when I thought my situation was entirely hopeless you girls have given me hope. Now i’ll be able to get through the week until I get my first real paycheck!”

I can tell you that we had no regrets after that……
From then on we make it our duty to do whatever we can without counting the cost even if its small, because you never know the difference you can make in the life of someone else with just one simple act of giving…..

We were 16 and 17 years old respectively!
    God bless you all!
