Thank God for the cross!
We often remember it as a place of pain and shame; a place of sacrifice. A place where the ugliness of man’s sinful heart was nailed upon an innocent Christ.
Yet for all its humiliation and sorrow, there is a beauty in the cross of Christ. It is not just a wooden cross hewn from a tree, but it is a golden cross revealing the redeeming light of God’s glory. It is not only a cross soaked with the sin of man, but it is a cross brilliant in the delivering power of God.
The light of the cross of Christ chases away all shadows and darkness. It cuts directly through our stubborn hearts and removes the deepest root of sin, in order to bring us deliverance.
Thank God for the Cross of Christ!
Amen, the cross to many just two planks of wood that form the plus sign. when in reality it is much more
This is christmas a time to remember that a savior, the Son of God was born humbly of a human mother willingly and likewise so to did He go to those 2 planks of wood formed into the shape that is now forever etched in our memories
He was bore out of love
and He went to the cross out of love
not for royalty or the saint, but the sinner and poor that is not only the Christmas message but it should be the message throught the year.

I agree; the teaching of the cross experience is what is needed for humankind. Until a person’s old nature is crucified with Christ, buried with Him, and ‘raised to walk in a newness of life’ with His Spirit within, then nothing else will amount to much in our search…The old self has got to go, once and for all (Romans 6: 1-6). Keep up the good work. Hope that you can visit my blog sometime. Would love to hear from you all.
